The passing of Mitzi Johnson of Shelby, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis W. Cox and Cleo Cox (Green); her husband Glen Johnson; her granddaughter Rachel Johnson; her brother Larry Cox; and her son-in-law Terry Dickerson.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Dickerson of Willard, OH, Wesley Johnson (Kim) of McKinney, TX and Kelli Reimer (John) of Tiro, OH; her grandchildren, Kevin, Jack, Ben Johnson and Glen Travis; her great grandchildren, Keegan and Kaydence Johnson; her siblings, Jerry Cox (Joan) of Grand Island, FL and Sue Cole (Bruce) of Shepherdsville, KY; and her sister-in-law Maureen Cox of Olympia, WA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home (33 N Gamble St, Shelby, OH 44875). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shelby High School, in the care of the Food Service Department, at 109 W. Smiley Ave. Shelby, OH 44875, to help offset the student lunch debt.
