The passing of Mary S. VanVoorhis of Shelby, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gomer Gibson and Maude Gibson (Conley); her son G. Kevin Stanford; and her siblings, Marcus, Lowell, Don Gibson, Donna Collins, Shirley Nolley and Maxine Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Stanford (Sue) of Shelby, Keith Stanford (Kelly) of Petersburg, Michael Stanford of Shelby, Kara Hudson (Stuart) of Westerville and Ken Williams of Shelby; and her sister Delores Baker of Wayland. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home (33 N Gamble St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to the organization of the donor's choosing.
