Mary Opal Gillam Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Opal Gillam (Shelby, Ohio), born in Olive Hill, Kentucky, who passed away on August 2, 2018 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde P'Simer and Ella P'Simer (Burchett); and her sisters, Loveda Satterwhite and Lodena McCleese. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Lockhart (Pete), Wayne "Doug" Gillam, Joel Gillam (Tracy) and Rob Gillam (Molly); and her siblings, Geneva Satterwhite, Nancy Kilgallin, Gladys Gessel, Katie Schaffer, Wanda Benzing, Brenda Kahl and Gayle Thomas P'Simer (Lois). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the National Audubon Society.
