We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2025, at the age of 81, Mary Ann Hawk (Shelby, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Mary Ann's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Hughes and Gertrude Hughes (Katz); her husband Edwin Hawk; and her pet Lily Belle. She is survived by: her stepson Trevor S. Hawk; her daughter-in-law Julia Hawk (McCafferty); her granddaughter Erica Gerngross (Tanner); her great grandchild Tucker; and her brother-in-law James Starett (Debbie Jo). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home (33 N Gamble St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
