He is survived by: his children, Sam Rietschlin (Angela) of Crestline, Heidi Rietschlin of Mansfield, Andy Rietschlin (Paula) of Shelby, Heather Shepherd (Ron) of Shelby, Carrie Kemerer (Michael) of Crestline and Jake Rietschlin (Jessica) of Shelby; his grandchildren, Luke, Marshall, Nathan, Grace, Elizabeth, Michael, Louie, Karen, Veronica, Jude and Charlie; his siblings-in-law, Jim Metzger (Janice), Alice Metzger and Pat Metzger; his close friends, Rosemary Sutter, Robert Biglin and Jeremiah Hamons; and his nephews, Luke and Tom Rietschlin.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Sacred Heart School, Shelby.
