He is survived by: his parents, Richard A. "Dick" Shaffer and Sharon A. Shaffer (Harding) of Shelby; his wife Kelly Renae Shaffer (Howerton); his children, Miranda Shaffer (Michael Schuller) of Huron and Dylan Shaffer (Alexandra) of Columbus; his sisters, Deb Carpenter (Brad) of Shelby, Diane Ramey (Dave) of Lexington and Kim Finnegan (Andy) of Shelby; his parents-in-law, Robert Dean, Sally Howerton of Shelby, Robert Howerton, Jr. (Lori) of Green and Tracey Howerton of Union, KY; and his pet Nala. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, other relatives, and many friends.
