It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Joseph Krietemeyer of Shelby, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard T. Krietemeyer and Julitta E. Krietemeyer (Schroeder); his wife Clara B. Krietemeyer (Rosier); and his sister Marilyn Culp. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Krietemeyer (Michael Lindenberger), Michael Krietemeyer, David Krietemeyer and Scott Krietemeyer (Theresa); his grandchildren, Joseph Williams, Megan Lindenberger, Kathryn Lindenberger (Logan Hamilton), Jacob Krietemeyer, Jaclyn Krietemeyer, Isabella Sefcek, Danielle Krietemeyer, Lauren Krietemeyer, Sara Krietemeyer and Emma Krietemeyer; his siblings, Mark Krietemeyer (Becky), Karen Rieman (Bill), Janet Studer (Craig) and Linda Mitchell (Joe August); and his brother-in-law Tom Culp. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Penwell Funeral Home (168 W Main St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
