He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Demers and Jane Demers (Brown); his daughter Andrea Demers; and his sister Elizabeth Butts. He is survived by: his children, Jacob, Samantha, Nik and Sydney Demers; and his siblings, Susan LeBerth (Greg) and John Demers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorial expressions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
