He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorsey M. Armstrong and Alice Armstrong (Wyatt); his wife Lois Armstrong (Stamper); his daughter Diana Hopkins; and his siblings, Charles, Lonnie, Jim, Adron, William, Leslie, Paul Armstrong and Pearl Ramey.
He is survived by: his son Dennis Armstrong of Mansfield. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
