He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald L. Stentz and Marilyn Joanne Stentz (Leonhardt); his sisters, Beth Ann Mott and Linda Susan "Lindy" Hallmark; his father-in-law Donald Shawk; and his in-laws, Dick, Karen Mott, Clayton Hallmark and Dale Shawk.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jane Stentz (Shawk); his daughters, Sarah Stentz (Jeff Irelan) of Shelby, Melissa Alegria (Carlos) of Florence, SC and Laura Moriarty (Evan) of Northville, MI; his grandchildren, Autumn Irelan, Marin Fairchild, Enzo Alegria, Weston Moriarty and Griffin Moriarty; his siblings, Jane Risner (Charlie), Mark Stentz (Martha) and Jim Stentz; his mother-in-law Nancy Shawk of Bucyrus; and his sister-in-law Victoria Shawk. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Penwell Funeral Home (168 W Main St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for an account set up for his grandchildren's benefit, all of whom he loved dearly, with checks made payable to Linda Stentz.
