He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Frye and Mary Frye (Stump); his brother William Davis (Mary Alice); and his son Grant Smith. He is survived by: his wife Rita Frye (York) of Shelby; his son Robert Smith (Angela) of Bellville; his sisters, Rita Frye of Otway and Jane Frye (Michael Hause) of Pickerington; his niece Mauteen Jones (Mark Haake); his nephew Michael David (Heather) of Dublin; his great-nephews, Brayden Davis and Erik Davis; his great-niece Victoria Davis (Tori); his granddaughters, Tarin Sturts (Kellin) of Ontario, Tiffany Adkins (Brian) of Mansfield and Taylor Baer (Vince) of Ontario; and his great grandchildren, Erika, Lillie, Sofia, Aubri and Sophie.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the York Family Cemetery.
