It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Staton of Shelby, Ohio, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Coonie Risner and Effie Mae Risner (Barnett); her husband Junior Staton; her children, Michelle Lee and Ronnie Staton; her grandsons, Lee Staton and Jayden Staton; and her siblings, Vana Mae Bolen, Bill Risner, Michael Risner, Helen Feltner, Revia Mcaff, Lotan Risner and Christine Risner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Goodyear of Shelby, LaVon Staton of Shelby and MaLisa Staton of Shelby; her granddaughters, Adrianna Hope Goodyear, Tori Elizabeth Tallman (Trevor) and Ronna Staton; her great grandchild Iris Tallman; her sister Anna Jean Holida of Willard; and her niece Linda Gibson. She is also survived by numerous stepchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
