He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Reed and Ohma Reed (Waters); his siblings, Donna Clabaugh, Dick Reed and Ned Reed; and his grandson Nicholas Butcher.
He is survived by: his children, James S. Reed (Becky Butcher), Debra Wilkinson (Stephen), Jayne Rine (Darrell), Mark Reed (Darlene) and Sue Stanford (Kelly); his sisters-in-law, Judy Reed, Elaine Reed and Charlotte Newland; and his caregivers, Dianna and Brittany. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church.
