He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howell, Sr. and Ruby Howell (Lewis); his wife Lynn Howell; his sons, James Howell and Michael McCafferty; his grandson Dustin McNeely; his siblings, Robert Howell, Shirley Harsh and Sandy Summers; his brothers-in-law, James Harsh and Guy Bundy; and his teacup Yorkie Raggs.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Babcock, Julia Hawk (Trevor), Kasey McNeely (Tom) and Robert Dent (Susan); his sister Judy Bundy; his grandchildren, Katelyn Stacy, Zachary Zeiter, Erica Gerngross (Tanner), Michael Dent, Mary Dent, Tyler McNeely (Chelsea), Cody McNeely, Leea Iannino (Sergio) and Ed Babcock (Rachel Reider); and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Abigail, Casen, Clay, Oaklee, Cash, Sergie, Catarina and Tucker.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Werner Gompf Funeral Services (1106 Park Ave E, Mansfield, OH 44905).
