He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmes Tackett and Rose Elizabeth Tackett (May); his granddaughter Aryanna Tackett-Nokovich; and his sister Linda. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lee Tackett (Gardner); his children, Paul Tackett (Sondra) of Coral Springs, FL, Lori McFarland (Sonny) of Shelby, Renee Stephens (Wes) of Shelby and Rebecca Jeffery of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Lynette Nester (Tyler), Hannah Tackett, Samuel Tackett, Erika Henke (Logan), Gabrielle Burton (Matt), Tanner Stephens, Ian Jeffery and Austin Elliott; his great grandchildren, Adler, Owen, Harlynn, Camille, Harrison, Oakley and Zander; and his sister Donna Bacic (Bob).
