He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Long and Velma Long (Cronenwett); his grandsons, Jarred Heyman and Brock Long; and his brother Ray Long.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Long (Bailey); his children, Shelly Heyman (Trent), Michael Long, Mark Long (Denise) and Bryan Long; his siblings, Linda Laux and Gary Long (Marty); and his sister-in-law Pat Long. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
