It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Phelps (Shelby, Ohio), born in Pineville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnst Phelps and Verda Phelps (Johnson); and his brothers, Kenneth, Ernest (Terry Phelps) and Corgie (Buddy).
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Massie (Jason) of Shelby and Terry Phelps (Lori) of Hickory, NC; his grandchildren, Samantha Green, Tyler Green, Kobe Green and Tessa Phelps; and his siblings, James Phelps (Judy) of Shelby and Julia Morrell (Ed) of Temecula, CA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
