He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory L. Gearhart and Sally Gearhart (Nichols); his sister Shelva Jean; his niece Kelly Ann Wilson-Hockenberry; and his nephew Benjamin Gearhart.
He is survived by: his spouse Bertie Gearhart (Byrd); his children, Dorinda Wagner of Shelby, F. Wayne Gearhart (Jodi) of Lancaster, PA, Brenda Gearhart of Loveland and Jeff Gearhart (Michelle) of Loveland; his grandchildren, Shane Gearhart (Nicole), Jordan Gearhart, Garrett Bradley (Ellie), Regan Gearhart, Reilly Gearhart, Rachel Gearhart, Jacob Gearhart, Cooper Gearhart, Colton Gearhart and Aleah Gearhart; his great grandchildren, Morgen, Luke, Clint, Hunter and Tanner; and his siblings, Woody Gearhart (Bev), Loretta Wilson (Dave), Aretta Wiggins, Donna Ramsey (Gary) and Marcia Kegley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
