He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Cooke and Agnes Cooke (Sutter); and his nephew Jeff Gundrum. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Cooke; his children, Kelly Schroeder (Todd), Allison Fordyce (Jay) and Charlie Cooke (Kyle); his grandchildren, Olivia, William Fordyce, Carmen DeVito, Grady Schroeder, KC and Kash Cooke; and his sisters, Carol Shults (Mel), Linda Gundrum and Sue Daniel (Roger).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Shelby Foundation to establish a fund in Fred's Memory or the Shelby First United Church of Christ.
