He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Whisler and Margaret J. Whisler (Hanrahan); his wife Ruth Eileen Whisler (Feaster); and his brothers, Thomas Whisler and Jack Whisler.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Kerr (Gary) of Grove City, Russ Whisler (Kathy) of Ashland, Lori Dye (Dale) of Marion and Tim Whisler (Lisa) of Mansfield; his grandsons, Kevin Kerr (Stephanie), Andy Kerr (Ashley), Ryan Whisler (Avery), Daniel Whisler, Joseph Whisler, Jacob Whisler and Austin Whisler (Brook); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Hailey, Sara Kerr, Locklyn and Rowan Kerr; his brothers, James Whisler (Dory) of Florida and Richard Whisler (Brenda) of South Carolina; his sister-in-law Joyce Whisler of New Washington; and his friend Shelby. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or the Crestview Scholarship Fund and left in care of the funeral home.
