She was predeceased by: her parent George James; her husband Alfred John D'Avanzo, Sr.; her son Alfred John D'Avanzo, Jr.; and her siblings, John Wright and Eleanor Wright Turner.

She is survived by: her parent Helen Wright (Gardella); her grandchildren, Suzi D'Avanzo of Mansfield, Alfred John D'Avanzo, III of Shelby and Gil D'Avanzo of Mt; her great grandchildren, Mykala Thatcher and Nickoli D'Avanzo; her great great grandchild Mia Severns; and her brother George Wright.
