He is survived by: his wife Billie Jean Smith (Johnson); his daughters, Coleen E. Parks (Roger) of Shelby, Lois O. Finnerty (Rick) of Mansfield and Louise D. Burgin (Rory) of Galion; his grandchildren, Brian, Brandi, Brittany, Tammie and Kristi; and his brother Jack Smith of Cornell, Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
