He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucius Bond and Lucy Bond (Shaw); his wife Stella Bond (Waddell); his children, Emmett Bond Jr. and Patti Luckie; his siblings, Leon Bond, Calvin Bond, Curtis Bond, Elizabeth Moorman and Evelyn Withers; and his sisters-in-law, Hazel Bond and Ann Bond.
He is survived by: his family Emmett; his children, Shirley Cole, Jeremy Shepherd (Jessica), Jodie Stickney (Melvin) and Billy D. Swisher; his grandchildren, Tracey Bond (Greg), Kirsten Buchanan (Gary), Amy Scott-Bond, Gregory Luckie, Jordan Shepherd, Trinity Stickney, Aaron Mitchell, Lillianna Murphy and Jeremy Shepherd Jr.; his siblings, James Bond, Thomas Bond, Glenn Bond (Patty) and Lillian Smith (Alfred); his sister-in-law Delores Bond; and his brother Larry Keinath. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
