He was predeceased by: his former wife Suzanne Emerson (Bourgeois); and his sister Dorothy Bilsing. He is survived by: his wife Marie Emerson (Bettinger) of Cold Water; his children, Thomas Emerson (Yvette) of Wichita, Michael Emerson (Julia) of Houston, Kathryn Emerson of Shelby and Mary Ann Emerson of Asheville, NC; and his grandsons, Joseph, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Samuel, Sean, Maximino and Thomas. He is also survived by 5 step-children and 14 step-grandchildren.
