She was predeceased by: her father Omer Counterman; her husband Glenn Shindeldecker; her sister Diane Baker; her brother-in-law Gordon Pry; and her great grandchildren, Raelyn Yates and Noah Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Simmons (Mark) of Shelby, Dennis Shindeldecker of Shelby, Margaret Owens (Jeff) of Shiloh and Paula Adams (Bud) of Ontario; her grandchildren, Kevin Simmons (Laurie), Joe Simmons (Mandy), Tabitha Shindeldecker, Samantha McHan (Steve), Jenny Brown (Randy), Courtney Yates (Nick), Larissa Hughes, Erin Vaughn (Erik), Rachel Eaton (Nick) and Amanda Long (Scott); her sister Doris Pry; and her brother-in-law Henry Baker. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
