She was predeceased by: her husband Orva E. Dawson Sr.; her son Earl Dawson; her children-in-law, John L. Hastings and Peggy Dawson; her grandson Andy Dawson; and her siblings, Dorothea Arnold and Don Echelbarger (Mac).
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn M. Hastings of Shelby, Orva Dawson Jr. (DeeDee) of Shelby and Lynn Dawson (Elaine) of Crossville, TN; her grandchildren, Melissa McCandish (Doug), Brad Hastings (Michelle), Stephnie Kennedy (Brian), Sally Hoak (Tom), Mary Dawson, Amy Dawson, Kelly Dawson, Scott Dawson, Sherry Frankart (Brandon), Derek Dawson (Monica), Heather Dawson, Monica Robinson (Fiancé Ryan Davidson), Mike Dawson, Julie Miller (Adam), Janell Kershner (Dennis) and Dixie Dawson; and her sister Lucille Ross of Willard. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren with two on the way; seven step great grandchildren; five step great great grandchildren.
