She was predeceased by: her parents, John Engle and Thelma Engle (Black); her husband Ralph E. Smith; her parents-in-law, Alberta Smith and Ralph T. Smith; her daughter Melissa Sue Smith; and her great grandchild Aubrea Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Smith (Jennifer) of Mansfield and MaryAnn Hoskins (Charles) of Shelby; her grandchildren, Shana White (Kenneth), Robert Hoskins, Steven Hoskins, Shaiann Smith, Hope Alexis Smith, Savannah Smith and Kase Smith; her great grandchildren, Jeremy Little, Deziree White, Aubriella White, Charlotte White, Caspian White, Angel Kelly, Jaymiscen Kachermeyer, Harper Walker and Grayson Frank; and her brothers, Richard Engle (Tammy) of Hillsboro and James Engle (Pauletta) of Flemingsburg, Kentucky. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in care of Barkdull Funeral Home to offset funeral costs.
