David Charles Steele Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2024, at the age of 92, David Charles Steele of Shelby, Ohio, born in Mansfield, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Rose (Close) and Charles Gaylord Steele; his former wife Janice Ann Beal; and his great grandchild Everleigh Steele. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Steele; his children, David Steele II (Debbie), Mark Steele (Lori) and Beth Ann Steele; his stepchildren, John Steele and Cindy Dill (Jeff); his grandchildren, David C. Steele III (Allison), Dustin L. Steele (Steph), Mark J. Steele and Marrissa L. Kirk; his stepgrandson Dan Rasnic (Cara); and his sister Charlene Haviland. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of the brave and unselfish service of our many brave veterans including David.
