With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christina A. Cooper of Shelby, Ohio, born in Sylvania, Ohio, who passed away on March 31, 2023 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Christina A. Cooper to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Friebel and Otillia Friebel (Hoehn); her husband Daniel B. Cooper; her son-in-law Scott Spraggins; her grandson James Cooper Sides; and her siblings, Roman Friebel, Marie Maier, Wally Friebel, Bob Friebel, Gerald Friebel and Dick Friebel.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Cooper (Jader) of Medellín, Columbia, Tom Cooper (Carolyn) of Fletcher, NC, Gary Cooper (Ginger) of Nashville, TN, Vickie McCoy (Dave) of Columbus, Dan Cooper (Lori) of Shelby, Tammy Sides (Dale) of Seale, AL and Laura Wedekind (Todd) of New Albany; her grandchildren, Amy Cecil (Jason), Kelly Kochendoerfer (Adam), Sara Graham (Thomas), Emily Cooper, Kirby Booker (Oneil), Matthew Cooper (Allie), Lucas Cooper (Elise), Brittany McKinney, John McKinney, Jenna Sides, Josh Sides, Boston Wedekind, Zach Wedekind and Cameron Wedekind (Peyton); her sibling Raphael "Butch" Friebel; and her siblings-in-law, Glenda Friebel, Donna Jean Burke, Corliss Cooper and Dick Cooper. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
