With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine L. (Cook) Schaffer of Shelby, Ohio, born in Mansfield, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2024 at the age of 66. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Dale and Margie L. Cook (Smith); her husband Robert Dean "Bob" Schaffer; and her nephew Paul Michael Roberts. She is survived by: her son Tim McCallister (Shannon) of Shelby; her stepson David Schaffer (Missy) of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Emma McCallister, Sierra Barcroft (Austin) and Skyler Schaffer; her siblings, Debra Roberts of Mansfield, Carol Diana Roza (Jeff) of Ontario and Michael Cook (Karen) of Shelby; and her nieces and nephews, Cathy Lynn Barciz (Brad), Roger McGinnis (Lynn), Steven McGinnis, Tara Roberts, Michael Cook, Jr. (Colleen) and Stephanie Hagberg (Derek).
