He was predeceased by: his parents, Eliza Carty (Montgomery) and Wilbur Carty; his son Michael Ray Carty; his great grandchild Finley Ray Little; and his siblings, Chester Carty, Jim Carty, Tressie Charles, America Russell, Beulah Price, Silas Carty, Richard Carty, Lester Carty, Jane Dunn and Frances.
He is survived by: his wife Carlene Carty (Spencer); his children, Danny Dwayne Carty (Shawn) of Westerville, Rhonda York (Brad) of Bucyrus, Marty Joel Carty (Patty) of Ashley and David Alan Carty (Sarah) of Worthington, Ohio; his grandchildren, Megan Little (Scott) of Pickerington, Andrea Albright (Blair) of Springboro, Elizabeth Carty of Columbus, Kristen Carty of Columbus, Tiffany Triplett of Bucyrus, Brittany Fraser of Bucyrus, Shaun Berry (Jenna) of Marion, Amanda Hogg (Troy) of Sunbury, Spencer Carty of Worthington, Wesley Carty of Worthington, Tyler Hogg of Columbus, Travis Hogg of Columbus, Toby Hogg of Columbus and Alex Holcomb of Columbus, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Sawyer, Adlee, Ava, Kade, Ashton, Allie, Alivia, Jade, Blake and Caleb; and his sister Ressie Winters.
Due to COVID-19, Secor Funeral Home, Little Rebecca Church and Buddy's family ask that everyone consider the safety measures recommended by the State of Ohio by wearing a mask and utilizing hand sanitizer when attending the services.
