Blanche Gayheart Obituary
We bid farewell to Blanche Gayheart of Shelby, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 16, 2025 at the age of 92. Blanche touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Estill Robinson and Sadie Robinson (Handshoe); her husband Forest Gayheart; her son Greg Gayheart; her siblings, Edna Jean Robinson, Mary Horne, Wayne and John Robinson; her sister-in-law Lois Robinson; her son-in-law Phillip Hicks; and her great grandchild Alyssa Laser.
She is survived by: her children, Bryon Gayheart of Shelby, Gladys Hicks of Shelby and Laura Fraley (Chris) of Shelby; her daughter-in-law Tammy Gayheart of Lenoir, NC; her siblings, Steve Robinson of Plymouth, OH, Beatrice Horne of Nashville, TN and Coleen Robinson of Mansfield, OH; and her sister-in-law Ginny Robinson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home (33 N Gamble St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Taylortown Community Church (2656 Taylortown Rd, Shelby, OH 44875).
