He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Wright; his brothers, Robert Wright, Chester Wright, Brooks Wright and Russell Wright; his daughter Karen Wright; and his daughter-in-law Lora Wright.

He is survived by: his son Kenneth Wright of Shelby.
