She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Simmons and Leota Simmons; her husband Dean; her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Stine (Jim) and Rev. Thomas Vossler; and her granddaughter Maranda McKnight.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Stroup of Washington, Roger Stroup (Susan) of Mansfield, Robert Stroup (Kim) of Brook Park and Nancy Medley (John) of Shelby; her grandchildren, Mathew, William Stroup, Julia Behm (Justin), Andrea Gingery (Tom), Christina Acernese, Nicole Roberts, Ben Medley, Michael Medley (Katy), Jacob Medley (Ashley), Aaron Stroup and Ryan Stroup; and her sister Patricia Vossler. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice.
