We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2018, at the age of 101, Ben Johnson (Shelby, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife LaVonne Johnson; and his siblings, Sidney A., Wilbur Johnson, Willis Johnson, Beulah Thurman Webb, Nola Roberts, Eula Lee Wheeler and Lola Howard.
He is survived by: his children-in-law, Franklin Lee Johnson of Geneva, OH, Carol Ann, Robert McLaughlin of Weaverville, NC, Marlene Crabtree and Kenny Crabtree of Ashland, OH; his grandchildren, Christopher McLaughlin, Jeff McLaughlin, Ben Johnson, Scott Johnson, Rebecca Kitchen and Jonathan Figley; and also, Wayne Johnson of Geneva, OH and Judy Johnson of Geneva, OH. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Health Hospice at 335 Glessner Ave, Mansfield, OH 44903.
