She was predeceased by: her parents, George Heckman and Clara Heckman (Spangler); her stepfather Jesse Williams; her siblings, Charles Heckman and Jeanne Wiebe (Milliron); her son Kevin Hemmerly; and her nephew Mark "Kip" Milliron.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Hemmerly; and her children, Michael Hemmerly (Elizabeth) of Bellingham, WA, Jackie Shaffer (Don) of Ontario, OH, Keith Hemmerly of Everette, WA, Daneen Porter of Shelby, Brian Hemmerly, Martha Fort of Mansfield, OH and Keni Marie Morgan (Rodney) of Bucyrus, OH. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
