He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his children, Tim (RaeAnn), Holly Haney-Kolvoord (Robert), Gale Patten (Dennis), Guy (Hennie), Dana (Shelly), Severn (Mary), Jenny Willard (Chris) and Dru (Dana); and his siblings, Lavada Kennedy, Lorraine Barrett, Severn, Lawrence and Betty Mysako.
