Shirley left this world on March 9, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband John L. Miles; and her parents, Shirley Sexton and Roxy Felty. She is survived by: her children, John "Jay" Miles (Juanita) of Elyria and Michelle "Missie" Lockridge of Elyria; her grandchildren, Cody (Tanya), Alexa (Steven), Sam (Rebekah) and Chris (Lindsey); her great grandchildren, Joanna, Abigail, Annalise and Madison; and her sister Martha Jane Herman (Phil) of Elyria.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Haven Baptist Church (5290 French Creek Rd, Sheffield, OH 44054). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
