He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ackerman and Jean Ackerman; and his birth mother Alice Mae Ackerman. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Clark (David); his grandsons, Jack and Nash; and his siblings, Harry Ackerman (Deborah), Suzanne Crabtree (Steve), Larry Ackerman (Gina), Barbara Griffith (Mike), Ann Glime (David), Paul Ackerman (Aimee), Rudy Ackerman (Gail), John Ackerman (Kim), Frances Geiger (Chris) and Dan Ackerman (Natalie Cifranic). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
