He is survived by: his children, Ronald A. Sommer (Marilyn) of Avon Lake, Todd K. Sommer (Molly) of Vermilion, Kent A. Sommer (Gail) of Vermilion and Deborah S. Porterfield (Rick) of Punta Gorda, FL; his son-in-law William Long; his grandchildren, Scott Sommer (Stephanie), Christina Myers (Dylan), Lindsey Braddock (Daniel), Ryan Porterfield (Elisha), Eric Sommer (Cortny), Kari Halko (Tom), Tyler Sommer (Tammie), Kyle Long, Kristopher Sommer, Corey Porterfield (Val), Mindy Kisting (Cort), Jodi Long (Dave Reichlin) and Kelsi Long; and his great grandchildren, Ty, Max, Aubree, Hallie, Ethan, Brody, Jace, Keeden, Brooke, Quinn, Thomas, Paige, Henry, Lucas and Baby Boy Sommer.
