He was predeceased by: his daughter Anita Ellen Kriebel; his parents, Herbert P. Kriebel and Margaret E Kriebel; and his sisters, Iona Smith, Laura Reinders, Eleanor Pavlich and Agnes Forthofer.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria J.; his daughters, Constance Cotton (Joel) of Amherst and Denise Scaglione (Paul Dersch) of Sullivan; and his grandchildren, Lauren Bertel (Erik) and Olivia Cotton (Joe Barylak).
