He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Margaret; his parents-in-law, Richard and Mary Ellen; and his brothers, Daniel and Charles.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen; his children, Christopher, Jill, Michelle (Chris) and Bethany; his granddaughter Stella; and his brothers, William, John (late Marie), Mark and David (Molly). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
