She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Shoemaker and James Shoemaker; and her brothers, James J. Shoemaker, Dennis M. Shoemaker and Steve Whittington.
She is survived by: her son Sean Rishel (Jennifer) of Elyria; her grandchildren, Eric and Hannah Rishel; her stepmother Leona Shoemaker of Accident, Maryland; her half-sister Debby Francis of Florida; her nieces, Michelle Shoemaker of Florida and Trena Williams of Sandusky; and her nephew Butch Lynch of Tennessee.
The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County.
