He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth; his sons, Matthew and Mark Palmer; his parents, Harry Palmer and Thelma Palmer; and his nieces, Pamela and Cheryl Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Cooper Palmer of Sheffield Lake; his stepchildren, Paula Cooper, Gloria Armstrong (Gary) of New Hampshire, Melody Lewis of Elyria and Stephen Cooper (Ginger); his stepgrandchildren, Griffin Armstrong, James Miskov, Rhyan-Dennis Cooper, Tyler Cooper and Reese Cooper; his stepgreat-granddaughter Mariah Miskov; his brother Raymond Palmer (Kay) of Massillon; and his nieces, Joyce Robinson and Brenda Hoffman.
