He is survived by: his son Joshua Biber; his wife Joan Perch; his son Dan; his sisters, Karen Biber (Tom Holdford) and Diana Biber; his in-laws, Tom, Donna Perch and Mariellen Perch; his nieces, Michele Perch (David Bressler) and Allison Perch (Keith MacKay); and his great-niece Penelope Bressler.

“A great coach, a great player, a super teacher, a wonderful friend, a strong leader in times of crisis, a pillar of Lorain City Schools. There are no words to express how sorry I am to learn of this loss. Paul was such a wonderful part of our community. When I lost my Joe he rode his bike over and said "Conway, are you alright?" Just such a great person. I am so very very sorry to learn of his loss.”
