He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ambers and Eleanor Ambers; his siblings, Joel, Fred and Donna; and his grandchildren, Brandon and Elenie.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Ambers; his children, Vince Ambers (Anita), Jackie Dennison (Harold) and Chris Ambers; and his siblings, Patti Crawford (Robin) and Phillip Ambers. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Lutheran Church.
