She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Paukner and Helen Paukner; her husband Daniel B. Walend; and her brothers, Ralph, Dutch and Richard Paukner.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Walend of Elyria, Dennis Walend (Michelle) of Sneads Ferry, NC and Carrie Walend (Angel Senquiz) of Lorain; and her grandchildren, Amber Walend (Zach), Brooke Jones, Daniel Walend (Caylin), Dakota Walend, Brandon Cornish (Katie), Ashton Rico (Adrian), Kaytlin Rivas (Merari), Angel Senquiz (Alexis), Jacob Senquiz, Joshua Senquiz and David Champion (Katie). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
