McCowan of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, born in Springdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Eloise; and his brothers, Eugene and Henry. He is survived by: his children, Barbara McCowan, Joseph McCowan (Jane), David McCowan (Leslie), Susan Spanos (Patrick), Linda Dillehay (Mark) and Carol Mikofalvy (David); his grandchildren, Frances, Abbe, David, Matthew, Jennifer, Nicholas, Timothy, Elizabeth, Andrew, Melanie, Alexander, Katrina, Christina and Leila; and his sister Darlene Knechtges. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
