She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; her parents, Donald Hyatt and Ruth Hyatt; and her siblings, William Hyatt, Jack Hyatt, Marge Mercer and Marie Hayes.

She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Maltarich (Dottie) of Lorain and Terry L. Maltarich (Angela) of Highlands Ranch. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
