He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora "Russell" Detrick and Mary Mildred Detrick (Coil); his wife Carolyn Detrick (Redd); and his siblings, Betty Kesler (Carl), Jean Engstrom (Hugh) and Roger Detrick.
He is survived by: his children, Brad Detrick (Charlotte) of New York, NY and Jane Stevens (Shawn) of Lima; his grandson Zachary Detrick; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Patterson and Ruth Detrick. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
